Our team have accumulated a wide range of business advisory and tax planning skills, having previously been partners in or working with both national and regional firms of Chartered Accountants.

Michael Ogilvie (Director) has previously been a partner in a top ten firm and not only specialises in Profit Improvement advice, but also in advanced tax planning strategies for successful businesses.

Michael believes that paying tax can often be considered as "voluntary" - it is a question of your attitude to tax, and knowing where to go to get the right advice to find the most appropriate way of legally avoiding paying too much tax.

Through our membership of AVN and Probiz two forward thinking associations, we have gained access to much of this "right advice", and Michael continues to make other new contacts to further his specialist skills to help you save tax .

Michael was until 2002 a founding director of the Association of Profit Advisers, and also works as a non-exec director for several clients.

Michael particularly specialises in advising the Health Care professions. He is also a founder member of The Professional Speakers Association and talks regularly at seminars and conferences at home and abroad about the need for businesses to have a "Profit Culture" to be successful in the new century.

Andy Hill (Director) joined our company in November 2004, having previously been a partner in local firm Ashdown Hurrey.

A qualified chartered accountant with a degree in Accounting and Finance, Andy is also an accredited consultant with the Small Business Service, Business Link and The British Accreditation Bureau, specialising in business planning.

As a qualified Strategic Planning specialist, Andy enjoys working with businesses to help them achieve their dreams, and is always delighted to be able to offer his tax planning skills to significantly minimise tax liabilities for successful businesses.

His wide ranging experience in the Owner-managed business sector includes consultancy work with Enterprise Agencies and Business Links, particularly concerned with business start-up's, raising finance and grant applications.

not only deal with the efficient production of all our "compliance" audits, accounts, and taxation work, but they have also all been trained (and continue to be trained)with the latest business planning skills so that they are very comfortable discussing business and taxation issues with our clients.

They in turn are supported by Alison Headey our Taxation Manager who mainly specialises in tax planning and other tax related work.

Our First Impressions Team Pippa Prichard and Nicola Brickley, will normally be answering our phones, greeting you in reception, and generally liaising between you and our teams to make sure you are happy with the work we do for you.
